In sociology, sexuality refers to the social aspects of variations and hierarchies amongst male and female (Macionis & Plummer, 2012). Similarly, the sex activity order refers to the ways in which societies order notions of masculinity and muliebrity into power relationships (Macionis & Plummer, 2012).
